All sales are final. There are no exchanges, refunds or returns on merchandise purchased from Kaufman’s. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover and cash as forms of payment. We do not accept checks on phone or mail orders. We also offer a layaway program. 50% of the original price is required to place an item in layaway. All merchandise must be paid in full within 60 days or it will be returned to stock and deposit forfeited. Merchandise may be shipped to the customer for an additional charge which is set by the shipping department. All merchandise is steamed when received in the store prior to be placed in stock. There is a charge if the customer request additional steaming.
Wedding gowns- $30.00 On site alterations are available for an additional charge set by the alteration department. Merchandise may not be pinned or fitted until paid in full. An appointment must be made to be pinned. Allow 4-6 weeks to have merchandise altered. If a customer places a special order it will be placed with the manufacturer when 75% of the purchase price has been paid. Once a special order has been placed it cannot be canceled. There are no exchanges, refunds, returns, or credits allowed. Cancellation of a special order or layaway by a customer or failure to adhere to agreed payment schedule constitutes default and all payments made by the customer shall be retained as liquidating damages and agreement canceled. The merchandise may be resold at the discretion of Kaufman’s. All merchandise is inspected by our staff prior to being placed in stock and after alterations. It is your responsibility to inspect your gown before taking it out of the store. Please remember there are no exchanges, refunds, returns, or credits allowed on any merchandise from Kaufman’s of Downtown Wheeling. Thank You. |
